I began my green journey about two years ago. My 3-month-old son had eczema and I started reading labels. Of course, I couldn't pronounce 2/3 of the ingredients, but I was focused on the fragrance – I was convinced this was the culprit. But, it wasn’t helping. Then the more I learned about what those other ingredients were, the more I thought about all the other things we use/eat/slather on our skin that are not good for us or the environment. Fast-forward to today, we’ve made tons of progress in greening our lives. But, I’ve started to forget the reasoning behind the things we do and that makes it hard to evangelize the green life. So, I started this blog both as a way to help me remember, AND get the word out to my fellow Texans about what they can do and what others are doing.

Nice! Does this mean I'll post more often? That remains to be seen
